Introductions that mean something.

We operate at the intersection of two worlds that rarely meet: institutional-grade digital asset managers who are serious about Dutch investors, and Dutch investors who want curated access.

Manager Selection

We take very few mandates. Every manager we work with has been assessed on track record, fund structure, strategy clarity, and regulatory standing. We only introduce what we'd commit to ourselves.

Investor Introduction

We have built genuine relationships within the Dutch family office and institutional investor community. We identify the right fit and make warm, qualified introductions — not cold outreach.

Process Facilitation

We help both sides prepare for each other: due diligence expectations, investment committee framing, documentation. We stay involved until both parties are satisfied — or until it's clear it's not the right match.

How we work

A simple, transparent process.

We work with both sides of the table, but our commercial relationship is with the manager. There is no cost to the investor, and no conflict of interest — our selection is the filter, and our reputation depends on every introduction we make.

01 Qualify

Manager qualification

We assess each manager against our criteria: institutional structure, verifiable track record, MiCA or AIFMD compliance, strategy clarity, and genuine alignment with a Dutch investor audience.

02 Introduce

Targeted introduction

We identify the investors in our network who are the right fit for this specific strategy and ticket size. We make a warm, informed introduction — not a mass mail.

03 Facilitate

Support through close

We stay involved: helping both sides navigate the due diligence process, preparing materials, and managing the relationship from first meeting through signed commitment.

Wardyn is paid by the manager upon close. We only work with managers we believe in — our selection is the filter, and our reputation depends on it.
For managers

What we look for.

We are selective by design. We work with a small number of managers at any time — which is what makes an introduction from Wardyn mean something to a Dutch investor.

Institutional structure

Regulated jurisdiction, qualified custodian, robust legal documentation. Structures that a family office investment committee can sign off on.

Track record

Minimum two years live performance, or a team with verifiable institutional pedigree. Minimum €10M AuM — crypto is a young industry, but we need evidence that others have already committed real capital.

MiCA / AIFMD compliant

Either MiCA-registered or structured as an AIF with AIFMD passport — a prerequisite for Dutch institutional investor eligibility.

Strategy clarity

A strategy that can be communicated clearly to a Dutch family office investment committee in one page. If it can't be explained simply, it won't get allocated.

Genuine alignment

We expect a genuine relationship — not a marketing channel. Managers who want to invest in the Dutch investor relationship are who we want to work with.

Fair fee structure

Fees must be proportionate to the mandate — strategy complexity, liquidity, and track record. We will not introduce managers whose compensation we cannot defend to an investor.

Marcel Burger

Before crypto, I spent over a decade in institutional financial markets. I traded derivatives at Optiver, advised on financial risk at EY — including a secondment to Morgan Stanley's rates team in London — and served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Achmea Investment Management, where I managed interest rate overlay portfolios for Dutch pension funds and co-designed balance sheet risk frameworks for large institutional clients.

In 2018, I founded BurgerCrypto, offering crypto asset management to high net worth individuals alongside a dynamic hedging consultancy. At the end of 2020, Amdax acquired the business. I joined as CIO and spent five years building their investment approach, developing institutional-grade investment strategies, and forging relationships across the Dutch investor landscape.

Wardyn is built on both sides of that experience. I understand how Dutch investment committees think and what it takes to satisfy them. I also understand what separates a serious digital asset manager from the noise. That's the judgment I bring to every introduction I make.
